I always joke that you are the peanut butter to Carolines Jelly, the mac to her cheese. And really, it is true. You two have been friends since the beginning of time...or at least, as far back as you can remember, which is basically the same thing.
You met at Tammy's when you were 2, and have been close ever since. But this year, it became more of a sisterly, loving relationship, more than just a playmate. Going to preschool together this year was really, the best thing I could've asked for. You balance eachother out, when the other is scared, or nervous. You bring out the best in eachother.
Well Pre-k came and went, and summer school began. Awesomely enough, you had the same teacher again. And on the first day, in this new building, with this new teacher and lots more kids, you were both a little timid. And, Caroline says to you, "Livie, if you get scared, you hold onto me. If I get scared, I'll hold onto you." And just as simple as that, you two were brave again. You just needed to know, there was someone there to catch you, if you fell.
This Fall when Kindergarten starts, chances are, you won't be in the same class again. And I think that's going to hurt a little bit. It will take some adjusting. But, the friendship you have is so sweet, I think you will still find that comfort in eachother, even if you're down the hall.
